After a number of requests, today we decided to remove the requirement that films entered for consideration for The Publishing Prize should be eight minutes’ length or shorter. This was a question which was already being discussed internally, and we had decided to consider it for the next competition year; but now we have decided to introduce the change with immediate effect.
Competition categories for film
Since a few years ago, films (including online video, etc) have been eligible as entries for The Publishing Prize. In 2017, the categories for entries are films that deliver information, instructional films, and marketing films.
